  This has become my go to sushi spot in Hayward. Every time I come the wait is never too long, even during peak hours at lunch. My go to roll has become hot night, because it is eight and has a variety of different fish in it.
  
  The spicy tuna roll is one of my favorites too. It's simple but fresh and has a kick. The prices here are hard to beat because the sizes of the rules and dishes you get are big, and most of the rules are around or under 10 bucks.

  My friend and I were craving sushi Friday night so we looked to Yelp! for the best sushi near us--we discovered Sushiland, read reviews and looked at pics.  Most definitely looked like what we wanted.
  
  We arrived to a super crowded, tiny restaurant.  They greeted us in seconds and crammed us into a little table by the sushi chefs.  We had sake, beer and tea on the table in the blink of an eye.
  
  We grabbed several rolls and nigiri.  Everything was super delicious, very fresh and beautifully presented.  
  
  The service was fast and courteous.  Pricing is reasonable and parking is available.  I will return for sure and bring friends to enjoy as well.
  
  BTW--Jerry is AMAZING!!!  Best customer service ever.

  Best place in the East Bay, for a great price and it's made right at the bar in front of you.  Very fresh product, fast service and super friendly.  Love ingaging with the employees and everything is great... monkey balls always delicious,  tempura anything here is always crisp and flakey.

  Yesterday, I took a spontaneous trip to a local sushi spot that I hadn't been to in 5+ years but my friends and I recalled it being bomb sushi so we dropped in. The restaurant is really small so we got there just in time to secure the last table, WIN! The staff here was very attentive, friendly and welcoming.
  
  We ordered some beer, plum wine and the calamari tempura to start. I thought the calamari rings were just okay, large size calamari rings so good portion size. We asked for lemon wedges to drizzle on top which made it bomb LOL.
  
  We ordered 3 rolls; The Volcano Roll, 49ers Roll and the Crispy Salmon Roll. Hands down, the Volcano Roll was our favorite. The addition of the spicy crab and spicy mayo was just the right amount of heat, this roll melts in your mouth. I was also impressed with how fresh and soft the salmon was for the Crispy Salmon and 49ers Roll so I recommend them all!
  
  Lastly, we ordered the Sashimi Salad which has a generous amount of sashimi for a very low cost. Great salad!

  Called beforehand to check on the wait. It's a pretty small place. We decided to eat at the sushi bar so we didn't have to wait. Waitresses were quick and helpful. Food was decent though we felt there was a bit less fish on the rolls compared to other places. I wouldn't mind coming back if it's a short wait.

  Shrimp tempura roll- this roll is gigantic in size which makes it difficult to eat in one bite. It would just fall apart. I liked that it came w a side of veggie tempura though the carrot was a bit hard. I would've liked sweet potato instead.
